Not bad for one of the worst BCS teams in the country. Nitpicking. BCS is an obsolete term. Navy was never a "BCS" team. They used to be I-A. They are now FBS. |

I had Navy as my "last team in" in my mock FBS 24-team playoff bracket FWIW.
A Liberty Bowl win is a big deal in Annapolis!

Especially with a win over a Kansas State team that was tied for third in the Big 12.
Navy came into the game ranked 23. I am curious to see if and how much they move up in the final poll.

A stellar Navy season! Predicted to come in 5th (of 6) in the AAC West, not in anybody's top 45 Pre-Season, and coming off the 3-10 2018 season. Only losses this year were to a very good (and top-20) Memphis squad and a thumping by Notre Dame.

Congrats to the Middies!
I'm still amazed we held Perry to 28 yards on 10 carries.....I know the games played out differently but he had ovah 300 yards rushing against Army and 200+ yesterday vs. K State.
Hope we can play down there again in the not too distant future.
