Had hoped the NY Giants ,mivghgt sign him. As one announcer said, the Giants may have tyhoiught they had the inside track on him because he was so familiar with the inner working of the team. A second announcer said that may be why he decided to sign elsewhere.

Six years, sixty million with potential for $70 million plus a buyout to Baylor. He gave the NY Football Giants the chance to match but they wisely demurred and hired a 38 year old receivers coach instead. Neither of these two new head coaches have any experience as an NFL head coach. You get one chance to be the fresh new face with no "voting record" so to speak.
