OT on the roof. Keep the ball in Lauren and Avery's hands as much as possible.

The three that tied the game was WAY TOO EASY. What a shame, down the stretch of regulation they played fantastic defense. One letdown and it cost them the ballgame as it turns out.

Bad loss. They need to distribute the ball better. “They can’t be a one Manis Show”. As goes Manis, so goes the team. Brutal loss. Coaching counts

Could there have been a way to take the air out of the ball, slow the game down and focus on defence when HC built a big lead in the first half? It seems like the lead was frittered away.

I was at the game and noticed that BU’s BEST PLAYER ( Nia Irving) did not even play ! Awful Loss Irving’s a good player - but not their best. That would be Katie Nelson, who plays virtually every second of every game. Irving’s play has been somewhat disappointing this year. Her minutes played, scoring, and especially rebounding gave all dropped this year.

We have one third less assistant coaches than the rest of the league. Will ADMB backfill the position to support a team that has a shot at a PL championship in a ten team sport? We have a DOBO but her experience level is appropriate for that position, not necessarily for a D-1 assistant coach. I have always thought four BB coaches and a DOBO for 13-15 players is overkill, but not that HC should unilaterally disarm and be the only team playing at a disadvantage in depth of coaching and preparation. The NCAA must allow a coach on a leave of absence to be replaced during the absence, I assume.
Next year Lauren will not be walking through that door. Why not provide the best support to win the PL this year?
HC competes well in FB and baseball, but those are seven and six team leagues. Winning in a ten team league is that much harder. I can see areas where more resources for individual instruction such as footwork and shooting angles and form near the basket could help the team.

We're not privy to what the story is with Coach Parks.
Wonder if she's contemplating legal action too, and against which party (Gibbons, HC). Compound that with Nate Pine getting out of Dodge before all this came to a head. A real dumpster fire.

None of us are privy to the reason for her absence.
The article by Aidan Kearney in Turtleboy Sports on September 13th certainly was far from complimentary.

NCAA rules allow a team to replace a coach at any point. however it is very difficult at this time of year to find a qualified coach. . No college coach is going to abandon their team at this point, nor is a good high school coach. So that leaves unemployed coaches or High School assistants.
Ironically there are two patriot league teams that have five full-time coaches, army and navy. Those two teams are the two worst in the league. So maybe fewer coaches is better.

NP has magnificent timing. He arrived too late to become embroiled in the first WBB incident and left too soon to become embroiled in the second WBB incident.

NP has magnificent timing. He arrived too late to become embroiled in the first WBB incident and left too soon to become embroiled in the second WBB incident. Based on hearsay, I believe there were a total of three incidents. The last may have been the so called straw that broke the camel’s back.
