Now that basketball is completed at all levels for the year we can begin the final recruiting watch.
Of the four? Offers Montgomery, Rodgers, Brown, Moses do we get a commitment, and if so which player(s) and when?

Maybe there are more than four. We will have to wait.

Fair enough it looks very active sessoms from Binghamton is a very good pg
and I guess after this year of constant moves, I won’t be surprised if we lose a player or two

If we could answer that we could then turn our attention to predicting the bottom of the stock market crash.

Eventually the fundamentals will decide the bottom. It would be great if after these events the market wouldn’t live and die on quarterly results, but bet on the longer term outlook of the enterprise

I am getting tired of checking the board to see if we have additional commitments. Anyone know when the April signing period begins?

Question for all of these kids is taking visits during these times and does it delay decisions?

Question for all of these kids is taking visits during these times and does it delay decisions? In terms of college closings, I'm only hearing local ones. It might be happening everywhere and not reported in MA. If this is a local thing, it should only delay kids thinking about schools that are closed

Eventually the fundamentals will decide the bottom. It would be great if after these events the market wouldn’t live and die on quarterly results, but bet on the longer term outlook of the enterprise it would be nice not just for the market, but for innovation more broadly if everything were not so focused on short-sighted quarterly results and instead on fundamentals and long-term outlook. one need look no farther than tesla for the greatest example of this. whether they succeed (seems very likely now) or fail had very little to do with meeting forcasted deliveries. as for this market, i think "be fearful when others are greedy, and greedy when others are fearful" applies and is presenting some opportunities to buy on the way down to the bottom, at the bottom (wherever that may be), and back up from the bottom.

Next you're going to say that 3 wins is acceptable if HC is in the Sweet 16 in 2021-22

It's been a brisk day in the transfer portal, with about 30 new names. I'm wondering if we might need to see a Holy Cross player's name there before we can pull the trigger on a new commitment. I may be the only one who thinks we have 13 scholarships on the roster now, but in that event, there's currently no room for Moses or anybody else, is there?

My best guess is that there are 13 on scholarship and that Coach Nelson knows something about Copeland that I don't

Yes - saw their names there today - also saw Lovisolo (altho that's probably a mistake as he's at Union I believe)
