In case anyone was wondering if there’s a reason to care about the XFL, there is not. I did a quick scan of the rosters and saw no one from HC. Only PL player was an offensive lineman from Fordham. Only Ivy player was a QB from Princeton.

Jimmy Murray was drafted by a team early on, however I don't believe he's taking his talents to this league at this time.

He kept working at his craft and now he could have a several year career as a regular contributor. A 17 game schedule could open up opportunities for some players who are on the bubble.

I never thought I'd see anyone on a pro roster from RPI other than a hockey player.

I never thought I'd see anyone on a pro roster from RPI other than a hockey player. Why do they broadcast offensive play calls and audibles? Couldn't defensive coaches just tune into the broadcast and figure out the entire offense? To be honest, I don't really understand the draw they are trying to create. They should eliminate targeting, blindside blocks, and make the league the way football used to be. Now, that would create some interest.

XFL kickoff rules are interesting! Some oddities to draw marginal interest at first
