I think Pridgen is almost a lock for 3rd team recognition but doubt it will be any higher. The first team will probably be Burns, Rayman, Mahoney, Kostecka and Nelson. The second team Ivanauskas, Davis, Jaworski, Funk and Whyte. I think the third team should be Wilson, Cohen, McCoy, Wilson and Pridgen. Wonder if and by the how much the injury will hurt Jaworski’s chances ?

I noticed Wilson is so good he made my 3rd team twice 5th member should be Richardson. Hoops beside Pridgen who would you put on 2nd team ahead of Ivanauskas.

Let's compare two players--just on their scoring over a span of games
Player A goes 3 for 22 on three point shots
Player B goes 26-35 on free throws and 26 for 26 on two point shots--not a typo, he missed no shots
which is the better stat line?

Whether you agree with it or not the stat that will matter most is 20-6 versus 3-23, the 26-26 stat line is pretty but not contributing to wins.

Of course one player is Ivanauskas and the other Pridgen. I do understand the effect of a team's W-L record on those selecting the all star teams, but to me Ivanauskas just isn't deserving. If you believe in KenPom;s measurements, Ivan's O-Rating of 89.3 (90.1 in PL games) is abysmal

I'd be pretty surprised if Matthew Wilson didn't make 2nd team - swap him up for Ivanauskas.

Pridgen is 3rd in scoring and 7th in rebounding in the PL. He’d better make at least 3rd team. I know he’s a freshman and we stink but come on. He’s easily one of the top 15 players in the league.

At 3-23 without many low scoring defensive battles, HC probably is a national leader in getting the ball out of bounds and getting offensive opportunities. Coupled with Joe being the best scoring option, some may dismiss his scoring average...unless they have seen him play. He's the real deal.

Joe might have some stiff competition for best freshman in the league.
Aldama and his teammates blowing out Colgate.
They’re currently the scariest team in the league.

Joe will won PL FOY. He’s already locked that up. I’m just referring to who’s the more talented player.

Loyola may have the three best freshmen in the PL not named Joe Pridgen - Aldama looks special, but Spencer and Dike are really good, too.
