A solid recruit with a bunch of offers at a position of need.

Lehigh got a good player, Landon Robinson, out of Akron, Ohio. A 6’2 235 lb Linebacker, with 30 plus offers from D1-3 ( Including other PL, Ivies and MAC) and happens to be a very good athlete!

I’m not sure that tells the entire story. Not saying he isn’t a good player but a lot of those offers come from D2 schools per 247.
Akron was PWO. Most others were NEC.

Dharry13 I appreciate your comments, and I haven't seen him play.
He is the neighbor of a former high school teammate of mine in Akron. Dan played for Indiana and coached high school football in Akron for over 30 years, including Copley and our school, St Vincent's St Mary's.
High school evaluations about potential and talent aren't always accurate on the high or low side. The key for most D1-AA players and lower FBS teams is about individual development. My guess is time will be the judge.

100% agree. Time will tell. Recruiting is certainly an inexact science and there are many times where schools miss on a kid who ultimately becomes a standout player.
Regarding recruiting I always look to the number of and quality of offers a player has because to me it means a larger number of coaches/teams feel the same way about the player. With that all said there are plenty of swings and misses on 5 star recruits as well. I'm sure Lehigh is excited about him.

Not quite as reliable this year with no camps, few campus visits, very little career info for these kids. Senior seasons will be hit or miss at least for the Fall.Highlight videos not a great substitute. LU staff tries to get full game videos where they can. Gives some context.

I could see this being a depth RB type of player.

The commit is Jordan Fuller. RB from Governors Academy
Never an offer posted but had an offer from Bucknell as well as a few Ivies.
Son of Jerome Fuller ‘92
Commit #10 - including transfer Daddona.
7 on O. 3 on D. I know looking at a few DBs. A DT, a DE

Just curious: how are recruit “offers” typically verified?

Only way to really know at the FCS level is to talk to the family or talk to the coaches.
Unless a kid tweets Full scholarship offer. And even then it could be embellished to a full even though he may only be getting 80%.

His dad was a great running back. Hope he is similar.

Agree, hchoops -- Jerome Fuller was a great RB for Holy Cross, with a very distinctive running style.
Some 10 or 12 years ago, when HC had an "alumni game" at the conclusion of spring practice, I saw Jerome Fuller play again, and he had the same distinctive running style that I remembered from the early 1990s.

Nice to have Jerome's son in the fold. Great player and someone I liked very much back in the day.

Jerome was a pretty solid baseball player as well, wasn't he?
For the record: Jerome's 1,465 yards rushing in 1991 are the most ever in a season by a Crusader

Jordan is a high quality recruit for running back. He is a diamond in the rough for Coach Chesney and will be a pleasure to watch on Saturdays with his punishing style of running. HC is building a solid nucleus of running backs for their offensive schemes. Extremely excited he will be wearing Purple come game day....
