I hope the coaches are looking at the DL/OL player at Jack Norris high school for next year. He is big with great grades 4.4GPA. Yale & Dartmouth have been in touch.....hopefully Jack is friends with him and gets him to visit HC. Name, please ?

Josiah Jackson 6'2" 285lbs. current Junior. Would be a great student athlete for depth in the lines.

Went to Delbarton in NJ. Prepped this past year at Taft. I didn't check to see what type of season they had if any. Seems undersized at 6'2/205 for a DE. Didn't see much in the way of any offers. Was invited to Lehigh and Fordham campus to see a PL game, but that's it.

He will have a lot of work to do in order to play DE at the D1 level. That suggests to me that they may have plans to play him elsewhere (maybe LB?).

There's no way someone that size plays DE at D1 (even the PL). Just a guess, but he's probably a great athlete and a hitter so the plan might be to have him add 20 lbs. in the weight room and play linebacker.

Are you hinting that the 2021-22 season will be the equivalent of unofficial redshirt season. If he is not rostered, then he is not a counter, and could, I believe, receive need-based aid. I very much doubt they would even use a part scollie on a late-arriving student who they don't expect to have any playing time.

Hearing that Townsend has had a change of plans and will no longer be attending HC. That was quick. LOL.
