Maybe. But one would think the higher seed would have home court. Cannon is ranked #7 in NC, Latin is #30.

1. 0-5 from outside 2. Attacks the basket, some nice juking, but not super quick. Can finish with either hand. 3. Four (?) assists, no TOs that I saw, steal and a block 4. Good FT shooter 5. Ok defense off the ball.

Looking good....I just hope next year we remember he is RJ Johnson, and not Magic Johnson - and start getting on his case if he isn't an instant All-American. He definitely has a skill set we can use in spades.

Absolutely. We don't need him to score. Distribute, take care of the ball, attack, play tough D.

Maybe. But one would think the higher seed would have home court. Cannon is ranked #7 in NC, Latin is #30. The host site is pre-determined. CL would be the host of this game even if CL wasn’t in it.

I like what I’ve seen from RJ. The rest of his team doesn’t have much in the way of size or talent.

Another nice pass off penetration, this time with the left hand

I think he is the type of player you need to watch 2-3 times to get a better evaluation of his quickness on defense
Not concerned about his perimeter shooting
Looks like he is good with the ball Sees where to attack and makes intelligent decisions

He really doesn't get much help out there.

Down 40-28. Getting away from them. Not sure how CL made it this far.

Hope we have big RJ and little RJ with the team next year. With an unusually large amount of new players next year, stability in the coaching staff would uncomplicate matters as much as possible.
My spell check indicates uncomplicate is a word for you Scrabble players.

not sure why coach took him out at 50 seconds, nearly cost them. got him back in with 20 seconds and they got it back to 4 down

Down 49-45 at end of three. I give them credit for hanging around. Now time to win it.

I have RJ with 21 so far, including 9-10 from the stripe. Our FTR will be going up next year.
