Honestly, she might get a tryout, but I think she is much more likely headed overseas for a couple of years if she wants to continue.

I know others disagree but I think that Manis has a shot to be drafted in the WNBA. Main reason: her rebounding ability. She can really elevate. Have you watched many WNBA or top 10 NCAA games ? Lauren is a very solid player at our level, which is well below the WNBA and top 10 NCAA where the league draws from

We don't have any reference of seeing Lauren function as a cog on a talented top ten team. The scouts have to extrapolate her skills playing both against and playing with mid major players and project how she would fill a wing position in the WNBA. But if caronaviris subsides, playing in Europe would be a blast.

I don't think you've watched much high-major women's basketball - the gap between that level and the PL is the Grand Canyon. If you have some time this weekend watch the ACC, Big Ten and/or SEC tourneys - they're being played into early next week and televised on various cable networks. Lauren is the best the PL has to offer but that does not translate to the WNBA.

I enjoy watching UConn games a few times a year. Lauren shoots .446 from three land. UConn shoots .398 and opponents shoot .273. Who gets more good looks, UConn or Lauren? The inside out passes are so crisp it seems a Husky shooter can sometimes check her phone before shooting. PL defenses key on Lauren. Just saying. But I can't measure the speed well enough to say if Lauren could keep up. I don't have enough experience other than as a fan. Perhaps Lauren would shoot closer to .273 against good defenses.

UConn and most/ almost all top 20 teams are bigger, faster, stronger and more skilled than PL teams
