Massey makes HC a 7 point favorite (63-56) with a 71% chance for the win. HC took both games from the Pards this year (57-49 and 57-56). Ironically the closer game was at the Hart, site of the PLT game on Monday.

bIg game tonight - Laf gave us fits in the 1st meeting and we escaped by one pt - in the 2nd game, Manis was dominant and the margin was comfortable - hard to beat a team 3 times in a season but we're the better team and plating at the Hart - in the game notes I see this is the first time since 2015 that we've qualified for a home game in the quarterfinal round of the playoffs - that's amazing and says a lot of how far we had fallen under Gibbons.

I hope we have the full team present.

I hope you are referring to JF and not a yet-to-be-made-public issue (injury, illness, whatever) with another player.
My guess is we have as much chance of seeing JF tonight as we do Coach Parks or Judge Crater. Just a guess.

Hey Tim, I would be stunned if you knew this, but the aforementioned Judge Crater is a Lafayette alumnus.

...only because I read the wikipedia article before I changed my post! The fact I picked a Lafayette alum was pure unadulterated coincidence.
Class of 1910; they had good football teams in those days.
And, I hope for the best for Ms. Faulkner; sincerely wish whatever is keeping her away from the team is not some serious personal or family issue.

8-4 end of Q1. Poor shooting on both sides.

Turnovers by Lafayette have been almost a constant.

Pitchers duel. 22-12 HC at the half.

22-12, I think, unless they went back and ruled some 2 a 3. Leopards can't shoot tonight, hope it continues.

Yes, no evidence JF is anything but a good player and teammate. She played well when she was in. The only plus is her absence had hastened the development of Cross and Petro. I hope JF comes back next year and starts.

Bucknell routes army 87-61 and BU about to finish off American. If we win we’ll definitely be on the road for the semis - we often play better on the road

Swords two quick buckets against another 6-3 center.

Lafayette is bloody woeful on offense.

PLN announcers are very impressed with the job AM has done. Coach only has an audience of one who matters, however.
Bucknell beat Army so we catch no break there.

44-23. Leopards 9-40 from the floor.
(edit) Make that 10-44. #15 is awful. Not even a good high school player. And tiny to boot.

Lehigh leading Colgate so still a very small chance we could host the title game. Would require Lehigh to hold on and then two pretty significant upsets in the semis. But I’m telling you there’s a chance.

Much better HC offense in the 2nd half - in the 1st half we are inept against their zone - Lafayette played like this is their spring break and they just wanted to go home - but credit our D as well - was interesting to see next year’s lineup (exc AL) on the floor for the final 3 plus minutes.

Interesting was not the word I would have used. To say we need a strong frosh class would be an understatement.

Lehigh wins at Colgate 69-62. I give them a very good shot at BU in the semis - full of senior talent that’s playing well at the right time

One way or another, a victory (tough to do, yes) over Bucknell will let a much larger number of local fans see the game in person.
