Pretty big loss for Bucknell: Jimmy Sotos (JR) in the portal, per VC. Starting point guard last two years; led them in scoring and assists last season. Yikes. Big loss for the Bison. Seems odd with one year left. Maybe he’s graduating early and can play next year as a grad transfer? I’m assuming he has a destination in mind. Will be interesting to see where he lands. 137 and a couple others on the Bucknell board seem to think it's coaching related.

If it's not a early graduation/immediately eligible thing, he must be a pretty unhappy camper.
Having said that, I hate seeing good players go. League needs MORE of them, not fewer (God I hope the grammar is correct here).

Says Sotos leaving is all about Davis.

He had gone back and forth on transferring the past two months, and his reasons were fairly clear. Definitely not a surprise. Nathan Davis has the same coaching ability as Sean Kearney. He won when he had the best talent by far, but now that things are more equal he has made a lot of really dumb changes - ones not liked at all by a lot of the players.

Not exactly Kearney lost when he had pretty good players

How's that pick and roll defense working out, 137?

Not only have our choices of bball HC's sucked, but so have our choices of AD's. So where does the ultimate responsibility lie? Huh?

Don't give Mr. Blossom a "F" (or is it "An 'F'"?) yet.

Patrick Harding - A NAD favorite, iirc - has entered the portal. 6-9, 245, and interesting numbers as a soph at Bryant last year - five points and NINE rebounds per game, in just 19mpg. Made 62% of his twos.
Believe we had interest in, but did not offer, him coming out of Suffield Academy a few years ago.

The PL is not close to being the worst league in the country.

A rare second chance to get a good big man. Obviously not another tall 3-ball specialist.

A .386 free throw career percentage. That's a yellow caution light.

Harding has some strange stats. Averaged 18.5 rebounds per 40 minutes. Only attempted 37 free throws and made only 15 of them. Seems like a one trick pony but he’s quite good at that trick. We could certainly use some rebounding and toughness. Had lots of PL and Ivy offers.

The poor free throw shooting is a concern, but looks like he could bang effectively inside off the bench, and has over 1,000 minutes of D1 experience under his belt. We only have three guys over 6-6 on the roster now, and two of them are gone after next year. Harding's NERR page with a few more highlight reels. newenglandrecruitingreport.com/in-the-news/harding-heading-to-bryant

Only 7.4 FGA/40 minutes. Seems like his role is similar to my role in our family driveway games. Let the kids shoot and then get the rebounds when they miss.
