Looks like kids might be deciding soon—told by a few coaches they are informing kids that campus visits unlikely before July 1 so they better decide

I hope he is as talented as I think he might be his junior and senior years

May mean Copeland is no longer in the program, and that we still have a scholarship to give.

If we signed another guard we are playing 4 guards next season or we have 2 scholarships left- a big -transfer/juco (1 or 2) and another big?

Love it! Great job by Nelson & RJ!
Massive upgrade in talent underway on this roster.
Updating the wing overview from the Townsell thread: End of last year: Pridgen, Wade, Le Seann, Hart Next year: Pridgen, Wade, Butler, Martindale, Humphrey*, Townsel, Montgomery, Hart
Competition will make everyone better and the cream will rise to the top.
*Clicking into Bo's Verbal Commit page, I noticed that they list Bubba H as a PG (which is how he lists himself in his Twitter profile). While he may not be a pure PG based on other reports, if he could even fill in as more of a combo PG, that would be a huge lift for next year and beyond.

May mean Copeland is no longer in the program, and that we still have a scholarship to give. Not that I want him to leave, as I would like to have a local DC kid finish-it helps with future recruiting in this area. but I agree and to me might raise additional questions about Riley's scholarship status

We are not as overloaded at the wing as BBC’s list may seem Joe played much 4 last year, as did Martindale for WA vs smaller teams. One of these wings will most likely play back up point, unless Reilly does. Hart in HS was a big, not a wing

If all these kids play as well as we hope, there will be a lot of flexibility on the team next season..

Yeah, all the new guys are 0s, 2s, and 3s; even though we have at least one player that already has one of those numbers! LOL!

Funny, I was wondering how GE was doing as we haven’t heard from him in a while. Certainly is the bearer of good news tonight. Great to hear from you.

May mean Copeland is no longer in the program, and that we still have a scholarship to give. That is my guess. Already a huge infusion of talent and there may be one more to add.

Other offers from Campbell, Howard and Southern Illinois - Edwardsville of the Ohio Valley Conference. 6’5” is some good length for a guard.

Updated roster. Assumes for the time being that Reilly is on scholarship and Copeland will return. If we make any offers from this point forward, we’ll know at least one of those things is not true.
2024 (5 scholarship players) Humphrey Johnson Rabinovich Martindale Montgomery
2023 (3) Wade Pridgen Reilly
2022 (1) Townsel Hart*
2021 (4) Butler Niego Faw Copeland
*Walk-on

And this gives us a leg up on his 6’ 10” junior All American teammate, Mousse Cisse, who began his HS career in NYC at Christ the King(Jave Mead)

Cisse may not yet have NBA offensive skills, but he is an NBA athlete.
