How does the campus get only a B?

Interesting to see that Iona only received a B-. The same basic tuition cost, close to the same enrollment, but Iona students are clearly a level below HC when it comes to academics.

Agree that the campus rating of B is ridiculous but so is the AthletIcs rating of B+ (in the other extreme)

Big points, I imagine, for athletic participation and for the number of teams offered...possibly the facilities, fields and courts as well.

5th best Catholic college is not too shabby (nudging out #6 Santa Clara and burying #20 Fordham).

I would increase safety, even in a not-so-great area of the state. Campus traditionally from my perspective has been safe. I would make professors an A+. No way athletics can be a B+ unless it's just for participation by 25% of the students. I'm from the era before the "new" dorms, so B- seems legit.

/\ /\ I'm thinking if Fordham is 20th, 5th is pretty good. (These various ratings are all over the place). Without going back to the page I'm guessing BC, Nova, Georgetown, Notre Dame.
As far as the 14 schools between us and Fordham (beyond #6 Santa Clara) at Niche, I have absolutely no idea.

Holy Cross received a A+ rating in the survey.
Ahead were Notre Dame #1, Georgetown #2, Boston College #3, Villanova #4.
Following HC was Santa Clara #6 and St. Louis #7, San Diego #8, Loyola Marymount #9, Dayton #10
Jesuit schools take 5 of the top 7 spots.
Creighton, USF, Gonzaga, St. Thomas, Fairfield, Marquette, Scranton, Loyola Chicago; rank ahead of Fordham on the list.

I would like to see us get back ahead of Villanova in the future, which I think can be done with improved athletics and increased diversity.
