She is not wearing a knee wrap in the video. Many players who have recovered from ACL surgery choose not to wear a brace or wrap. In basketball, it is of very limited value. Bison, what is the reaction to the Magarity hire among fans of other PL Teams. Thumbs up, down or a big yawn?

I'll answer for bison - 'get a grip, this is PL women's basketball - not even a big yawn'

Don't know what coach Mo's recruiting priorities are but I just saw this POY from RI is heading to Fordham as a walk-on. Know nothing about her but seems she might be swayed by an offer from a low-major.
Megan Bodziony, a 5'10 guard from Wakefield, R.I., earned three varsity letters at St. Andrew's School under coaches Andrew Shirber and Christina Batastini following her transfer from South Kingston as a sophomore. She completed a decorated high school career as Rhode Island's Player of the Year and a McDonald's All-American nominee. A two-year team captain and team MVP, she was named to the Class AA All-Star team by the New England Prep School Athletic Council (NEPSAC), as well.

I think she might be our third or fourth RI POY if that is the same as Gatorade player of the year. Merideth Ward was Gatorade player of the year, Bethany O'Dell was Gatorade player of the year and Oluchi Ezemma was Gatorade player of the year in back to back years.

Very odd as she apparently committed to FU awhile ago. HC & UNH were certainly aware of her as I believe both have offers out for for 2 of her teammates, Owens & Forman '21 hold offers from both schools I believe. Maybe her ACL injury that kept her out her Jr year caused some hesitation.

But has Coach Mo launched the same charm offensive on her that she did on Marcus Bloom? A walk on in the worldwide epicenter of Covid-19 vs a scholarship and an airy hill in Worcester? I edited the original post and I must have deleted where I said "if she arrives" she will be the third or fourth POY. BTW, is Gatorade POY the same as POY? And when did the quaint "Miss Basketball RI" label fade away? I guess nobody's a Miss anymore, they go straight from a lass to a Ms.

Fordham has been attractive recently as the allure of cities has grown. It will be interesting to see if some city mice want to become country mice after this virus which is caught by being close to other people.

No offense to the ladies mentioned, but it's too small a pond to be fishing in as often as we've fished there; although St. Andrew's does have a good basketball rep; at least on the men's side.
