There’s NOT a diamond in the rough but a ‘20 6’3” HOPE diamond out there who I know of. She’s THAT good AND she’s ripe for the pickin’. Sleeper of all sleepers! Wants HC. Tell the kid to reach out to Coach Mo ii she hasn't already, I hope their already talking!

To view ‘SLEEPER’ You tube: GLH BBall workout 2019 —-ENJOY! Link? I jumped around in it. The girl is pretty good, but I am not impressed with drills done at half speed in any sport.

Agreed. But now, I am very confused. I think that I figured out her name and learned that in 2017 she made it to the third round of the USA Basketball U16 team tryout. It was also apparent that she was as good in volleyball as in basketball and saw that her sister is a PL volleyball player. Then, I discovered that if she is who I think she is that three days ago she was announced as a D1 college volleyball recruit at a college in NY state. BKNY---Have I identified the right kid?

So, then why would HC be interested in her if she has committed to play volleyball? I am not putting this athlete's name here in case she is trying to still get a hoops scholarship while using volleyball as a back up plan.

Coaching change at HC WBB could’ve put a damper on her thinking.—She did visit HC before the change and was ‘sold’.

She may be the player whose parents allegedly got turn-off on HC when they had a less than satisfactory chat w/ ADMB regarding the then coaching situation. But don't know for certain.

Got it, good to know. Hopefully she might still be interested as often, VBall is less than full scholarship

We had a player who played both VB and WBB at HC. Full time VB and then joined the BB season in progress. Since Coach Mo has an available scholarship for 20-21, and question marks in the front court, I wonder if it could be worked out where the player would play VB and then be ready for the PL season in WBB. I'm from the old school of multi-sport athletes so it doesn't sound that preposterous to me.

HC had a WBB player who was all-state VB in NJ at River Dell High School. She never played volleyball at HC Alessa May, one of my favorites. Manis was also a pretty food VB player. If IIRC correctly, Agnostelli of something similar, was the player who switched, but never played VB afterwards. Because of the overlapping seasons not really possible to play both I think Cait Agostinacchio was her name, played a couple years graduated in 05

It is theoretically possible, but in reality virtually impossible to play both of those seasons.

I just put in Agostinacchio in the search bar at GoHolyCross.com (never could have remembered that name on my own) and it turns out she was the Patriot League Volleyball Scholar Athlete of the Year her senior year. I think she was captain of VB and would practice and play with WBB when it didn't conflict with VB and then go fulltime after VB season ended. I remember she had good fundamentals but appeared a half step slower than the fully recruited basketball players at times. She was also the niece or grand niece of a Jesuit.
Looking through stories in the archives she played in a VB game against Lafayette on Dec. 18, 2004 and a basketball game against providence on November 19, 2004 so she actually played for two HC varsity teams simultaneously.

It is theoretically possible, but in reality virtually impossible to play both of those seasons. You'd need some cooperation between the coaches and a motivated player, but I think it could be done. HC's volleyball season ended November 17th this year. Basketball practice started in October but first game wasn't until November 9th. A player participating in both sports might miss the first few games but surely could play the great majority of the season.

She is not wearing a knee wrap in the video. Many players who have recovered from ACL surgery choose not to wear a brace or wrap. In basketball, it is of very limited value.
