According to standard dictionaries, there is no such word listed. Does "inventing" words make communication easier or more difficult?

lou, Thanks for the link, but the word "plandemic" is used but it is never defined in the entire article (that I could find). Could this be a case of an original typo that has been carried on ad infinitem?

I respect the rights of people who, whether for religious or personal reasons, do not want to be vaccinated our to allow family members to be vaccinated. However, their lack of vaccination now puts my family members in danger if they come near to these folks. There is a religious group near to us who are doing just that. Seeing and saying that there is a personal agenda of profit for Fauci and others is insanity. IMHO it was good to see the state say they must be vaccinated to control danger to others in schools and other settings. This may come up again if and when a vaccine for Covid-19 becomes available.

I agree 100%. Another comparable example--should people be allowed to drive unsafe vehicles on our roads--no, because they are more likely to run into you or me and cause us harm.

Certainly Tucker Carlson is a conservative but I don't know why his guest last night, Dr. Martin Makary from Johns Hopkins would have an axe to grind. No doubt, Dr. Fauci has been given an unenviable position in this crisis and it might be fair to say every decision hasn't been the right one. here is this doctor's take on some mistakes over the last 3 months. video.foxnews.com/v/6155406595001#sp=show-clips

If the doctor did not have an axe to grind, he would not have been on the Carlson show Why has the health of the American people become a conservative vs liberal issue ? Dr.Fauci is as apolitical as possible, serving multiple Republican as well as Democratic presidents.

Maybe we need a new topic - "Judy Mikovits" - then we can ignore it, instead of posting this multiple times under Dr Fauci

There certainly is freedom to post many different points of view, but when the right wing conspiracy theories keep attacking an apolitical doctor alumnus who is leading the current fight against this horrid disease, it does dishonor to this Board and our college. Using a Kennedy whose ideas have been thoroughly disputed by most/all in his family does not give credence to these anti good health positions which endanger our schools and our society. To protect the health of New York State children, the state mandated last summer that all schools not allow unvaccinated students to attend.

Additionally, I think it is fabulous that people disagree with Mikovits, Kennedy, or anybody else. A healthy exchange of varied opinions is good for our society. Even better when done so after reading and listening so as to offer truly informed and opposing thoughts and ideas. The fact that the MSM would much prefer to drown the voices of individuals such as Kennedy and Mikovits and/or anybody else and deny them the ability to speak strikes me as problematic. I guess that is why I don't have much respect for the MSM and am far more interested in pursuing elsewhere original and informed constructive commentary across the entire spectrum.
Information is everything.

The Kennedy family even disavows RFK Jr on this issue: www.politico.com/magazine/story/2019/05/08/robert-kennedy-jr-measles-vaccines-226798
Frankly, Larry, if "knowledge is power" and you're just "pursuing truth", I don't know why you are failing to acknowledge that the sources you're continuing to cite have been widely and thoroughly discredited. This isn't a "follow the money" issue. Frankly, I winced when, earlier in this thread, you linked your own published works to this rabbit hole, because doing so is doing a discredit to your own work. You don't want to be associated with these people.
It should also be pretty clear at this point that the views you're espousing are not resonating with the posters here. And yet you keep pushing them... when I think most posters/readers are being too polite to come right and say that you're propagating tinfoil-hat level conspiracy garbage. But that's really what this is.

Ditto this. For years I was on a committee at a prominent school for autistic children. They also do research, and follow all the worldwide research, and they have provided endless information stating unequivocally that vaccines do not cause autism, but people who believe in conspiracies refuse to take off the blinders. "Tinfoil-hat level conspiracy garbage" is an apt description of what the deranged RFK Jr. and others espouse.

For those interested dr. Fauci will be testifying before the senate this morning at 10 - report this morning says he’ll scold those states that are opening too early and sacrificing lives - D and R questioning will be interesting for sure The short quote in the paper this morning seems to indicate that he will stand by the reopening document that the administration issued a few weeks ago which required a fourteen day downward trajectory of a variety of factors as well as sufficient hospital capacity and testing and tracing capacity.
