Our fellow alum, who is asking questions in the telephone oral argument format, queried counsel in one of yesterday's faithless electors cases:
"The elector who had promised to vote for the winning candidate could suddenly say, you now, I'm going to vote for Frodo Baggins. I really like Frodo Baggins. And you're saying, under your system, you can't do anything about that,"
A humorless attorney pointed out that Frodo Baggins isn't a human.

I am watching the PBS "Asian Americans" series this week. Like so many of the documentaries you can see there, it is well done.
