Stony Brook football being number 1 over UNH is hilarious! As I understand these rankings, these are prospective, not retrospective. Only four AE schools were ranked for football, and UNH was ranked #2.

How is this connected to this thread about the departure of the BC AD?

How is this connected to this thread about the departure of the BC AD? There was a question on the previous page about AthleticDirectorU's polling re: the America East after the link was posted with the ACC rankings.

Might it be worth a separate thread of its own...Preseason hoop predictions?

Might it be worth a separate thread of its own...Preseason hoop predictions? The thread only partly went off the rails. The website is ranking AD positions in each conference with respect to 'desirability' of the AD position in the future. BC was ranked #15 of 15 ACC schools. Eventually, the site will get to the PL, and THAT will deserve its own thread! The site is not doing pre-season rankings in any sport. HC will probably score well in the PL on facilities, very well if Army and Navy are excluded. For the ACC, BC was ranked #1 for only a single criterion: compliance. Every other criterion, BC was ranked at, or very near, the bottom.

Learfield/IMG very much has a clue when it comes to college sports admin, and polls were product of a large group of sitting ADs responses, not the subjective opinion of one person.
