Rising Junior TE/WR Henry Teeter from TX enters the portal. Appeared in 9 games as a Frosh and none as a Soph. Best wishes to him in finding a good fit.

Not to be insensitive, which can be hard to do in these matters, but did this kid play much?
Good luck to him wherevah he ends up.
ETA: didn't see that info above the tweet 92 posted at first glance

ETA: didn't see that info above the tweet 92 posted at first glance I've followed him closely as I thought he might have a big career at HC. As I recall he had gaudy stats in high school and Texas HS football can be pretty good. When he didn't get into games last year I concluded that my expectations/hopes were unrealistic. He came in as a tight end but seemed underweight at 212 pounds. He was moved to wide receiver and of course we are loaded at that position.. So, this transfer does not surprise me.

He would be a Gilmore recruit if I am counting my years correctly. A very gracious young man. Best of luck. As Kenny Rogers said, you have to know when to hold 'em and when to fold 'em.

Classy sign-out on his part. I wish him all the best wherever he goes. I hope he hooks on with a program that uses his skill with a lot of playing time.

The reason he did not play last year, was Henry was injured in camp prior to the season. I had a discussion with his Dad before the UNH game.

To use that extra year of eligibility could be a strong incentive to transfer.
