After coming out with 4 fouls in the middle of the third, Jehyve only played the last 30 seconds or so when his team had a lead and needed defense. Good to get the W. Next game Wednesday at 2:00 vs a team of mostly Dayton alums.
He definitely wasn’t getting many touches on offense. I think the one shot attempt and hoop he had was a put back. Definitely a strong presence on defense. One or two of the fouls were a little suspect in a game where they were letting a lot of stuff go. Once he got his fourth foul, that was pretty much it even though you get 6 in this tourney. Nick Ward was a beast in the second half which also limited Jehyve’s minutes.
It was an impressive put back by Jehyve, on the run down the lane, as his team was making a run. It went unnoticed however by the announcers who continued to be more interested in discussing virus testing protocols
Announcers resemble most of the compliant adults, because they want the actions to be science based. Unfortunately, there is a group, generational or other people, just tired of isolation and loneliness, that will allow the virus to live on and infect those they care about.
