I was looking for any summer collegiate baseball leagues that intend on giving it a shot - Looks like the Futures League and the Bravehearts are planning on a late start and a shortened schedule - At this time i'd rather root for one of these teams than the spoiled brats of MLB who don't seem to care about the baseball fans of the country. (does anyone else know of summer collegiate leagues that intend to play?) thefuturesleague.com/

Many summer collegiate leagues around the country are playing either shortened or regionalized skeds
Also unless a turn for the worse, we are even playing half a season starting likely July 6th in my adult amateur league on Cape Ann - Intertown Twilight League, only losing one of the seven clubs, which is merging with another for the season.

I think the Northwoods is planning on playing too. And why should the players and owners care about the fans at the MLB level? It is a business and that is why they get the big salaries. FYI, Collegiate Summer Baseball is also a business.
