Wow, he loses a rib. Hope he can have a healthy, pain free senior season.

That was an excellent interview. I hope Austin's senior year is a positive finale to all of his hard work and pain for the last three years. Interesting to hear him speak about. entering a sa group of 6 and now to be part of a two person senior group. It sounded as though he has taken this in stride and I feel he will be able to build good relationships with the incoming recruits.

Kid has fought through injuries, change, tumult, and catching a lot of grief. All he's done is shut his mouth and play hard. I hope he has health, first and foremost, and for icing on the cake: a winning season and improved personal skills.

I have not been able to make it to senior night the last several years as I usually have conflicts on weeknights with one of my three basketball teams, but I plan on being there this year to honor Austin and Matt even if I have to bring one of the basketball teams with me. These guys have been through a lot in their 4 years and are deserving of a special send-off at the end of this coming season.

Just a thought--I don't know that AB caught a lot of grief other than on this board and that was essentially from one poster.

Could have been one, could have been one hundred. In my opinion, SHOULD have been none.

I believe that every time it was posted that there were NO D1 PLAYERS on this team, that had to have been directed at Austin and (if he knew of those posts) that had to hurt.
