Williams off the board to Wagner. Is this kid ‘21 or ‘22? Verbal Commits says ‘21.

Dom Campbell, the big from Phillips Exeter we've offered, has picked up new offers in the last few days from UMass and Penn. Pretty sure he won't be coming here.

HC is one of many schools that have expressed interest in 2022 6'6" wing Noah Ross of Raleigh, NC. Eight have offered including Bucknell and Rice.

Shows that the efforts of their PR department may be paying off for the Eagles.

Sadly, BC is a higher end academic school than HC, at least when judged by difficulty of admission. We can argue about subjective things all we want but they (and Villanova) have passed us by in terms of difficulty of admission based on the objective data.

Let’s hope that with a new VP for Enrollment Management and a new Director of Admissions, this perception is remedied tout de suite. They both have a lot of fencing mending to change the image of Holy Cross among a number of High School students and guidance counselors. We need to grow the brand and remove the barriers.

BC “high-end academic school”?? In terms of the general student population, yes. Not sure who they accept/don't accept in terms of athletes- 25 years ago they put the screws to a recruiting class Jim O'Brien had set up that was top notch; O'Brien left soon thereafter. As we don't recruit the same guys any more, very difficult to tell. They do seem to get their degrees; or at least stay 4 years. Of course, that could be as much due to most of them not being top level players who would opt to leave.

Perhaps it should qualify said schools as those who play a decent level of college basketball; which, w/o raising the whole "we should have/ we should be in" arguments, Holy Cross really doesn't.

I'm pretty sure one of the starting 5 on that UMass team that went to the FInal Four was committed to BC, but didn't get in. Don't remember who. Padilla??

...and either the Bradley kid from Worcester didn't get in or was pissed off that a couple of his buddies didn't; and ended up at Kentucky.
