Clearly a matter of some miscommunication somewhere, which happens more often with kids coming in from abroad. However, the Office of International Students is pretty good at clarifying issues like this, and helping incoming student-athletes understand the myriad opportunities they have to pursue courses of study at Holy Cross that (along with access to a strong alum network) will enable them to successfully pursue their aspirations in the business world. The "Business, Ethics, and Society" minor is helpful, and Pre-Business offers a Business Certificate that also can complement the student's major field of study.

Louth sounds like just our type of guy! #GoCrossGo My understanding is that the decision to go all-remote in the fall means that Louth will be spending the semester in Canada. First-year international students cannot come to campus unless in-person classes are offered.

That rule was rescinded two days after it was promulgated.

The policy that was revoked banned all international students from remaining in the country if they were going to be in all-remote classes. However, the policy reversal doesn't apply to newly-admitted ("first-year") international students - any incoming student who received a Form I-20 to begin their studies this fall will be unable to legally enter the U.S. in F-1 status if course instruction is fully remote.

Potentially stupid question:
When do incoming freshmen sign up for classes?
How do we know if Coulibaly or any other freshmen have only remote classes if none have been signed up for yet? Maybe he's going to be a chemistry major or something else that falls under the not remote classification
