Former Assumption Coach Chesney is looking better than Assumption graduate and Notre Dame Coach Brian Kelly for the moment. Coach Kelly chose to have a congregate team meal after the last game instead of the grab and go meals they had been having. He said one person was asymptomatic and the virus spread like wildfire.

So, Chesney’s players have stayed safer in that regard. (Plus, Chesney’s team has given up 0 touchdowns...and zero yards. #undefeated.)

Matt Cedeno asks Fauci a question about COVID & football in the 'conversation' that Fauci had with HC students yesterday. (The students came across as articulate and informed.) Fauci speaks with Holy Cross students yesterday.

With proper monitoring he should be able to participate in workouts - Fauci (maybe thinking he was on campus) asked him where he was and Cedeno replied at home in Fl. - can someone bring me up to date on other PL football teams and how many players they have on campus practicing ?

Bucknell and Gate should have most everyone as both opened campuses. LU has a full squad even with a limited opening. All LU sports are at or near full rosters and practicing altho track's status is unclear. Lafayette has some players. Not near a full squad I dont think. Not sure about Fordham.

Well, hello Marcus Blossom ! As I understand there's only about 25 pct of our team able to work out together (driving to campus from their homes) - isn't there a way to get more players on campus (living like the basketball and hockey teams) ? This does not look like we are taking our football team and coaches' commitment seriously. There's still a month or more of outdoor weather to safely practice - assuming indoors is off the table for the foreseeable future.

When is the PL going to decide there will be a spring football season? Why would you bring players back to campus before that decision? In any event, HC will be back on campus on/about January 1, with the start of the new January term. That will afford the football team at least two whole months of practice before any game in March.

Saw baseball players working out when I drove by the other day.
