I told you so......had enough?.......this coach is mediocre at best.......we have plenty of evidence to go on........please don't say "let's wait till the indoor practice facility is finished".....will we reach .500 this season?

Gilmore will be done this season. He had more than enough time. Pine will bring the best guy in.

They were clearly holding #88. Of course the refs missed it. Int.

Don't forget we hired TG when program was at its lowest point and no schollies. We now have them, will have state of the art indoor football facility, great AD and big time programs on future schedule. Thus will be a sought after job and we can get a much better coach and recruiter.

Domination by Dartmouth. We look like a mediocre High School team. Confused on both offense and defense. Embarrassing loss......

Which body part? Season-ender? Saw it online - rolled ankle/foot under tackler pretty bad. He was in boot and on crutches in second half.

Without PP Lafayette and Bucknell will be difficult. Then we get a break with Harvard and Colgate

Was Bell also injured? __________________________________
On the second Dartmouth TD, the Dartmouth RB runs smack dab into the HC defender, and bowls him over and scores. Should have been a 1-2 yard game.
If PP had not been injured, this was probably an 8 point Dartmouth win. One HC turnover was caused by terrible ball security; another by the HC punter being more attentive to the onrush of the Dartmouth players than the snap right into his hands; an INT in the end zone on a tipped ball. ______________________
This is Teevens head coaching record between 1992 and 2013. He had coached at Dartmouth (26=22-2) before jumping to Tulane.
1992 Tulane 2-9-0 Ind. 1993 4-8-0 1994 1-10-0 1995 2-9-0 1996 2-9-0 1-4-0 2002 Stanford 2-9-0 1-7-0 2003 4-7-0 2-6-0 2004 4-7-0 2-6-0 2005 Dartmouth 2-8-0 1-6-0 2006 2-8-0 2-5-0 2007 3-7-0 3-4-0 2008 0-10-0 0-7-0 2009 2-8-0 2-5-0 2010 6-4-0 3-4-0 2011 5-5-0 4-3-0 2012 6-4-0 4-3-0 2013 6-4-0 5-2-0 The turnaround is probably more due to the former President at Dartmouth, Jim Kim, who was a high school QB and would show up at practice and toss the football. Football was important at Dartmouth again.

Sep 11, 2016 at 3:36pm QuotePost Options Post by realism on Sep 11, 2016 at 3:36pm Do I sense a more realistic assessment of 1-3 by Lafayette and at 6-5/5-6 by year's end ? Nice future schedules to talk about. The hype and reality seem to be just a touch out of sync. Where's all of this "improvement" coming from ? Doesn't seem it'll be from recruits falling over each other to come to H.C.. Becoming competitive enough to ( show up, play at, play the donors via ) H.C's future scheduless may be good enough for the administration, alums and donors to feel like the brand hasn't become totally irrelevant ? At least a better marketing strategy for a school which, despite trying everything, has a shrinking application pool, over-dependence on a declining New England secondary school student enrollment trend and a very tough environment for eventhe "better run" schools ? In the end, hype can only be stretched so far. Enjoy it while the positive anticipation plays its way out to a natural transition to a new reality. Any takers on this bet ?
