I can only hope she stays healthy and in the fold. I suspect that more than a few schools will take a run at her over the next year before she signs next November. Sounds like her visit to the hill was a homerun and reading between the lines, that the team is very enthusiastic and happy.

It certainly sounds that way. It works best when the athletes like BOTH the athetes/team and the coach - with loyalty to each...especially when the big schools try to (unethically) pry players away.

In this case, the fact her BFF Grace will precede and will will have a few months in next fall will help alot I think.

As long as Grace is happy How could she not be? Seriously, the are going to have an odd roster next year with an abundance of 6' ish guards/wings, Munt, Huber, Davis, Petro & Cassidy who all seem to have the same skill set. Minutes maybe an issue.

Actually, with LaBarbera, Cross, Flaherty & McCormack they'll have 9 guards.

I should have written “4 guards out of 5”, as Nova men have done often.

I should have written “4 guards out of 5”, as Nova men have done often. And as HC has done fairly often in the past and expect they will do so this year as well.

Just finally read this article. If even half of what the author says about Munt and Cahalan is true, we should be in business on the women’s side.

Flanagan had a reported offer from Binghamton as well. Much tougher to use social media to find other offers for the women so there certainly may have been others.

Some highlights of Meg from #1 (in NJ) SJV's victory or #2 Trenton Catholic 62-55. SJV is ranked #9 nationally. Think we may have got a lucky:

Flanagan's team still alive in the States (she sounds like the 1st pass first PG HC's recruited in a while)- if they win their next game face the team that beat Berger's in the state semi's

Meg gets an all Defensive Team nod: hoopgroup.com/news/2021/3/26/tournaments-2021-tiny-green-defensive-team-of-the-year.aspxMEGAN CAHLAHAN- ST. JOHN VIANNEY- JUNIOR She took every single post player this year she faced and shut them down. She did not lose a single matchup all season. Her ability to guard in the post without fouling had no match. But it was her ability to move, help and recover that was so special. She also was a masterful defensive rebounder. Something she got little credit for this season. Her ability to run in transition allowed her to guard big strong post players or the athletic post player. Megan Cahahan was somebody Coach Karpell could count on every night against top competition and post players. This is why Megan Cahlahan makes her first appearance on THE ALL DEFENSIVE TEAM

That is too bad. I wish Madison well at Howard, but I also wish we could have seen her wearing HC Purple for four years.

Similar basketball history to HC- good in the 90s, not so good afterwards.

Tiny tends to exaggerate a fair amount, but it does make me look forward to '22 with some anticipation, as I have heard from others that she is the real deal:
