Is 6 the usual number of WRs ? I think 5 or 6. I suspect 5 will be active each Sunday.

Just cut some guy I had never heard of and picked up former HC track star, Kalif Raymond, for my fantasy team. I hear he might have played football at the Cross, too.

Cam Batson was cut by the Titans today. He’s similar to Kalif in a lot of ways. His injury in camp last year opened the door for Kalif to make the team. Then Kalif did some things they liked and Batson became redundant. It’s a tough profession. I suspect the Titans will try to sign him to their practice squad if they can.

It will be great following Kalif this year. Let’s see if he can maybe catch 35 passes for 600 yards and 5 TD’s

Maybe just as likely to score on a return

Maybe just as likely to score on a return I do think this is the year he takes a return to the house. He had a few where he almost did earlier in his career. This should be the year.

Here's how often Titan wide receivers got the ball last season
Player---Games--Games Started//Receptions--Yards--Receiving TD's
AJ Brown--16--11//52--1051---8 Corey Davis--15--11//43--601--2 Tajae Sharpe--15--6//25---329---4 Adam Humphries--12--3//37---374---2 Kalif Raymond--8--1//9--170--1
I'm wondering if the Titans pass to their wide receivers less often than most NFL teams??

KY not sure if you were being serious, but the Titans challenge Minnesota (maybe surpassing them) for least number of passes per games just about. They rode Derrick Henry and the running game nearly to the Super Bowl, shocking the Ravens and their MVP quarterback. That's what makes a play-action deep thread like Raymond such a good fit for their scheme.

I read it today: The Titans were third in rush percentage since Ryan Tannehill became a starter in Week 7.

The Athletic Titans writer says in the section titled, Underrated Positive Development, that Kalif is the solid #4 WR unless someone above him gets hurt. Also predicts that Kalif will get around 30 receptions this season rather than the 9 of last year when his games were limited. MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL !

That's why I root for the man as a personal fan, but on my fantasy teams-- where real dollars are involved-- I'm glad to have him stay unknown on the waiver wire.
