A tough one to lose that way. Two good teams.

Kalif did not return the first kickoff Didn’t see it but the guy who did is a fullback so I assume it was some sort of short kick.

Slow day in a loss to a bad team 1 target. 1 reception for 11 yds 1 punt return for 3 1 KR for 19

Adam Humphries was concussed today so could be a bigger role for Kalif next week. There was also mention on Twitter of Tannehill missing Kalif who was wide open down the field on one play.

Slow day in a loss to a bad team 1 target. 1 reception for 11 yds 1 punt return for 3 1 KR for 19 Miami is a top five defense at this point in the season I believe. Not a bad team. A bad match up when the Titans were forced to go a bit more pass-happy than they traditionally want, to get back into the game.

0 targets. 3 punt returns for 49 yards. 1 kick return for 14 yards. Batson has 1 catch for 6 yards. Batson also got a kick return for 23 yards. Not ideal usage, particularly with Humphries out. Titans only completed 10 passes all game. 21 attempts.

Kalif only plays in their 3 TE/1 WR formation. They have thought about going deep to him twice but Tannehill pulled it down both times. Batson returned the opening kick after faking a reverse to Kalif.

Two drops for AJ Brown. Batson getting the Humphries downs. #freekalif

I hope the punter only rented by the week. And I can't say the many Patriots' critics who have come out of the woodwork this year are knocking them for not bringing Gostkowski (sp?) back.

Batson was the primary kick returner last night and he got two targets to Kalif’s 0. Starting to get nervous that Kalif might be the one who gets waived and signed to the practice squad when Humphries comes back.

Thanks, 92 for the heads up about the Titans game. I watched a bit and taped the 2nd half and haven't seen it yet. The little I saw was Kalif not even on the field much at all and share your concern his time on the Titans may be winding down. Too bad because it looks like he remains a long threat that they don't take advantage of. No doubt he has NFL talent.

I don't understand it.......in the few times they look for him deep, it's usually a positive result. Not sure what else the guy has to do; seems like size discrimination to me.

Everyone relax. In re his playing time, we don't know how he grades on plays, etc., when he is not taking shots, and why the coaches are making the decisions they are making - presumably based on info we don't have, practice performance, etc. He is on a NFL active roster and "starting" on special teams and getting some offensive snaps. That is a massive accomplishment and should be applauded.

Problem is I don’t think he’s starting on special teams anymore.
Last bit I saw he was not running back kickoffs or punts which was his main asset.
Still on the roster picking up the usual enormous NFL salary most of us could only dream about.
