Whenever Europe will allow.
Looks like their first exhibition game is September 5. First real game 9/24. It seems like the majority of European soccer and basketball leagues are opening on time.

It probably depends on how seriously they take women’s basketball. American soccer players are not having any trouble getting entry into Europe.
Nana Foulland is playing in Italy this year, and as of a few days ago it didn’t seem like he was going to be delayed in getting entry into Europe.

When Nana has grandchildren, it's going to get confusing.🙂 Congratulations Lauren. Looking on the bright side, some aspects of playing in Europe are more exciting than going into lockdown for the WNBA season. Unless of course her European league has a similar bubble.

We haven’t heard from Lauren in many months - does anyone know how her season has progressed ? - under normal circumstances she’d be heading home soon

If my wife and I can ever travel again, we'll get to Belgium, see her play and take her out to dinner.

Not sure how to take this comment:
“She’s better than I thought she was going to be — by far,” Las Vegas coach Bill Laimbeer said.

When Laimbeer calls anyone “fearless”, it cannot be a bad sign.

Not sure how to take this comment: “She’s better than I thought she was going to be — by far,” Las Vegas coach Bill Laimbeer said. Since very few third round draft picks get picked up in their first year, I see it as a positive. His skepticism was to be expected, and he did say he was not the one who studied her play and chose to draft her. To say her actual performance "far" exceed his expectations I believe is a good sign. As to fearlessness, Crusader fans are very familiar with that part of her game.

Laimbeer thought it was a courtesy to bring her back for camp after waiving her quickly last year - but now it’s hard to just cut her as not good enough - the problem is the roster size at 12 (nba is 15 plus 2-way contracts) - Lauren may need a break with an injury to another player

The road may not be as difficult for her as they only have 13 players currently in camp, including Lauren. Though I think there tends to be a fair amount of movement off the waiving list in the WNBA. In any case, I wish her the best of luck.

I don't know if it works the same for others, but on my browser the article included a Sports Illustrated video sponsored by Ebay featuring Sue Bird talking about her sneaker collection. Turns out she's the Imelda Marcos of sneakers. Twenty years after playing against Holy Cross, Bird might be playing against an HC alumna who may or may not have been born when Sue played her first game for UConn.

Only eleven players will be on the roster. I think it's 12. (https://www.wnba.com/keydates/)

from the attached article: "The Aces currently have 13 players on their roster, and will only carry 11 into the season." wonder why ? that could make it tough to keep Lauren.
if her agent has been on top of her camp performance, he/she should be ready to talk to other teams as rosters shake out

Several WNBA teams are only carrying 11 players due to salary cap reasons.
