I voted "yes" because they have to let Joshua in to run the stats to the press table. On a more serious note, depending on if those vaccines get out as quickly as they think is possible, I could see a mask-mandated, 10%-20% crowd allowed (possibly proof of vaccination too). Of course that wouldn't be too much less than we've had at the Hart in recent years anyway.

I voted "yes" assuming a very liberal definition of "fans".

Zero shot fans are allowed this season. Holy Cross should be focused in getting students back in campus before they start worrying about us fans and alum.
See you guys at the Fitton home opener.

Sadly, have to agree with 2010. No way they’re taking any additional chances by allowing fans. Only exception I can maybe see is immediate family of players from the home team.

So you’re saying we will be back in the fall watching Holycross football and what about next winter for basketball and hockey

Josh, perhaps you can work with Charles Bare to gain admittance to games as not a fan, but rather game day volunteer?

So you’re saying we will be back in the fall watching Holycross football and what about next winter for basketball and hockey If we're not back by next winter, it may be a sign that the reaction to this virus has done permanent damage to our society and way of life. By next December we will be 20+ months into lockdown.

Plenty of permanent damage has already been done.

With current trends, I think we're more likely to have the season cancelled than fans allowed in Hart.
That being said, if the vaccine is, as anticipated, widely available in Spring, I am hopeful that fans will be allowed in Fitton for September, even if still socially distant. November and Hart is even more time for sufficient vaccine distribution

Sadly, have to agree with 2010. No way they’re taking any additional chances by allowing fans. Only exception I can maybe see is immediate family of players from the home team. Even that is a risk as you are bringing in 30 different households for a basketball game and about 50 to a campus that has been shutdown. You don’t know where those parents have been!

If the FDA approves and Fauci agrees, I will be more than happy to take the vaccine being 70+ with comorbidities. Unlike some, I trust the institutions of our government unless proven otherwise and I certainly trust fellow alum, Tony Fauci. I would not consider myself a guinea pig.
See the poll I just posted in the general thread.
I am curious how Crossporters feel about this subject.

Josh, perhaps you can work with Charles Bare to gain admittance to games as not a fan, but rather game day volunteer? Agree with SoV, Josh, you should give it a shot. You may have to agree to testing, signing a waiver, etc., but the worst thing they can do is0 say no. And who knows, maybe they''ll need some help with game day Covid protocol related tasks that you could assist with. Give it a shot my friend.

Josh is "an essential worker" and don't see how he could not attend games at the Hart.
