He should have stuck to playing because he obviously doesn't know what he's doing running a franchise just gave Gordon Hayward a 4 year $120 million dollar contract.

Not sure exactly what else Jordan got out of the sign-and-trade he just did with the Celtics besides a couple second round draft picks. But, as a Celts fan, it was very good news.

Jordan loves high-volume scorers who played mid-major college ball -- see Morrison, Adam. Too bad he didn't get the chance to draft Steph Curry who is a Carolina bred guy like MJ (Charlotte picked Gerald Henderson at #12 that year).

With the expiration of the NBA's worst contract, 5 years $120 million to the immortal Nicholas Batum, Jordan wanted to make sure he has another top contender for worst contract by giving Hayward $30 million a year. Agree with Tim that after all the dust settled this worked out very well for the Celtics.
