fI like the "Jesuit Cup" for best team among the the 3 Jesuit schools. Let's get this done while HC still has some Jesuits on Mt St James. Is Georgetown a Jesuit or even Catholic school ? Thought they went Lay or non sectarian some years ago.

Thought they went Lay or non sectarian some years ago. Yes, Paula Jones named them in her suit against alumnus Bill Clinton and they had to become secular as part of the settlement.

No...here is the short form on Google:
"Georgetown is the oldest Catholic and Jesuit institution of higher education in the United States. The Jesuits have participated in the university's academic life, both as scholars and as administrators, since 1805."
and on their website: "Our Catholic & Jesuit Heritage Shaped by centuries of Jesuit education around the globe, our culture embraces the changing times while staying true to core values – engaging your intellect, helping you grow ethically and spiritually, exchanging ideas freely and building a more just world."
Georgetown is a Jesuit Institution and IIRC is not secular. Crosses were taken down in a number of places on campus to avoid offending Muslim students.

Wikipedia credits GU as the oldest Catholic and Jesuit college in America but states it has always been operated privately and the majority of students are not Catholic. I would not have voted to remove crosses. Offended students have many great Muslim colleges and universities to choose from.
Only kidding about Paula Jones, a favorite historical figure of mine, but interestingly Wikipedia also says GU is ranked by USNWR as having one of the top twenty athletic programs in the U.S.
The sport in the PL, GU football is nothing great but that's just one of their twenty-three sports in four leagues.

The Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities currently is composed of 28 institutions. The link below will provide a map as well of a description of each institution. www.ajcunet.edu/institutionsAlways find it interesting how misinformation continues to circulate that Georgetown is no longer a Jesuit institution. Of note regarding an institution that is no longer Jesuit sponsored, is Wheeling University which is no longer a member institution of AJCU. However the membership number of AJCU institutions remains the same at 28 even though Wheeling University is no longer member. wvmetronews.com/2019/04/10/wheeling-jesuit-will-end-its-jesuit-affiliation-at-school-years-end/en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wheeling_UniversityFor those who miss Iggy ..... He has is alive and well, just changed uniforms, he is now in a Cardinal uniform, and is now in residence at Wheeling University. 😁 Can anyone identify the school that has now replaced Wheeling? Should be apparent when you review the list.
