Roberts Centah was a great place (at least atmospherically) to watch a game.....right on top of the floor in a lot of places.

In other places, upper deck, hard to see the whole floor

The Roberts Center and PC's Alumni Hall (now Mullaney Gym) were very similar. The Hart Center Gym in many ways a 70s upgrade of those 50s buildings.
One thing that sucked about BC was they put a rubberized floor over the wood floor. It was gray and accentuated how bad the lighting was in that place.

I coached a Bay State Games team that played in the Roberts Center. I remember it was connected to the Conte forum, shared the same lobby....Strange that that part of the building would be torn down.... You’re thinking of Powers Gym. Still there. OK, sounds true to me! I though my mind was a goner......

Checked the Michigan box score. Wade’s brother did not appear in their 14 point win over Bowling Green. Hoping he can carve out a role for himself off the bench there.

Walkons rarely play in the Big 10 They are there for practice I know but we’re talking about a guy who had a meaningful role in the A10 as a true frosh. Not exactly your ordinary walk on. Also, I just looked at his bio and he’s not eligible until second semester so I can stop looking at Michigan box scores for a few more weeks.

I remember sitting in the balcony at the Roberts Center for a HC-BC game in the late 80s.....and being glad my view was obstructed (HC got blown out).

Fans in the student section would often "We Want Victor!" at the tail end of HC wins. One particular time, in a game that was probably a 15pt margin or so, he looked up at the crowd and just wagged his finger as if to say, "No, nows not the moment. Don't get his hopes up."

Lowder struggling to find his rhythm offensively so far. He’s 7-29 from downtown this year and only 7-12 from 2 point range. 29.4% overall. I suspect he’ll figure it out but the first four games have been a struggle fir him.

Victor, staple SG/2 of the WCHC intramural squad.
