I received an e-mail yesterday from my class chair yesterday about giving on Giving Tuesday. Did not really mention a specific campaign today, though the link to give did direct to the link Pak provided.
Also received a note from the PC co-Chairs mentioning Giving Tuesday with a link to the same giving page, but again, no formal mention of a specific campaign with targets.

My email had a brief note then a button to click to make a donation:

“Giving Tuesday is a global generosity movement unleashing the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and the world.”
For Crusaders, Giving Tuesday is a collective moment to pause and celebrate our shared hope and purpose. To encourage the good. To show how giving and living as men and women for and with others makes the world better. We hope you will join us, along with members of the Holy Cross community, with a gift of any size to show your support.
Click the button below now or tomorrow to make your gift. You may want to designate your gift to the Holy Cross Fund, the Crusader Athletics Fund or an area most meaningful to you.
We hope you all enjoyed a safe Thanksgiving holiday and found a way to stay connected to loved ones. As always, thank you for your support of Holy Cross. We are grateful!
I received the email as well. I imagine that some, especially those who plan their giving carefully, might find another request to be over the top. If you are one of those folks, you might want to participate in this national Giving Day by supporting a soup kitchen, a food bank or a food pantry. They have done extraordinary work this year and are likely stretched to their limits.
Today, on #GivingTuesday, we have an opportunity to share our hope and purpose, and to lead the world responsibly, with integrity. To provide pathways and opportunity. To show how we uniquely care for everyone, especially the underserved.
As a President’s Council member, you understand the value and the impact of a Holy Cross education. Through your leadership support of the College, you have affirmed that when our students graduate, they are ready to lead and ready to succeed at making the world a better place.
Your gift to Holy Cross on #GivingTuesday enables the College to focus on key priorities that impact our students, community and the world. Priorities such as: ensuring access for all deserving students; providing emergency relief and resources during challenging times; championing diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout our community; and focusing on sustainability to preserve our environment for future generations.
As we begin this season of light and joy, please consider supporting Holy Cross — to help ensure our students continue to bring hope and purpose into the world.
