A strange episode over the last two years and thankfully it’s over - we can move on with an 11 woman roster

Disappointing -- and a mystery,

A real shame; she showed a lot of potential as a freshman.

She was a very good player. She will be missed. I wish her the best. Hopefully, someday we will get some hint as to what happen, but knowing HC, probably not.

Doesn't look like Faulkner is on the online roster any longer Hope she's getting her sheepskin; in the end, all that counts. Kind of glad as far as her playing, there seems to be closure.

Reading all of the available tea leaves between last year and this one, there seemed to be very little chance Jenay would be part of the team this season. Glad we all have closure and wish her the best.

For some people, playing a game seems more important than their long term health. Too often, we have seen people make a decision based on emotion that they want to play, rather than understanding and accepting the long term consequences of the decision they are making.
It appears that Jenay and her family realize that a game is just a game and your health should take first priority.
Hope she is well and will receive her HC degree with her class.

Coach Magarity on the Zoom webinar did not mention Faulkner by name but did say there is one senior and had been injured and then said a little more on subject but, frankly, I wasn't paying close attention and wasn't sure if she meant that she just had a history of injuries or that she was still injured but in either case I was left with the impression she would not be playing much, if at all. Perhaps more alert posters could fill in the huge gaps I left? Shannon Murphy is the other senior, also with a history of injuries. Which points out we are short on experience in a senior driven league. Given that Faulkner is definitely gone; hopefully Faulkner's the player Coach Magarity was referring to. Either that or we're down 2 players.

I was pretty sure she was talking about Faulkner but since she didn't name names (wonder when that video will become available so people can judge for themselves?) can't be 100% sure.
Not being well-versed about the team, I may have missed a verbal subtlety and she MAY have said "we have one senior as one has had chronic injuries." If I had to bet, I'd say Faulkner gone and the other senior is the one and only one still standing.

I think it fair to posit that Faulkner was enrolled during the fall semester, else she would not have been included on the roster. (She could be enrolled and taking classes remotely, without being in Worcester.)
Murphy is still on the roster.

Murphy is still on the roster. Let's hope that the inclusion of her on the roster is not just in name only. She's needed and is capable of contributing if healthy.

Jenay Faulkner and Mia Mazza, former team members, who did not participate as players their senior year, received Holy Cross degrees this morning.
Congratulations! Welcome as an Alum.

What worked out well this season is that all the available players got chances to play and depth wasn't the same issue it would be in a full length season.
