I guess we can hope, while other conferences make final preparations for the spring season:

It is time for the PL to either say yay or nay.
This indecision BS is not good for the league.

Elon posted its schedule on Jan 1, which is seven weeks before their first game. IIRC, the PL will not start play until March 6, which is nine weeks from Jan 1.
What is the minimum number of games a school has to play to qualify for the FCS playoffs? If it is six, without GU, every PL has to find and schedule a sixth opponent. Not a simple task.

Thought we already discussed that probability of playing a team more than once.

What's bandied about by some here, believe it or not, has no bearing whatsoever on what will or will not happen.

Nothing "bandied." AD Blossom indicated as much in a Zoom IF there is a spring season.
Specifically, a possible 4 game schedule; 2 divisions; winner of each division play for the PL championship and a quote from AD: "we may play one opponent more than once."
But what does he know? He acknowledged the PL Council of Presidents would have to approve.

From a poster today on the Lafayette board (have no idea who Craig Daley is)
"Craig Daley of Stats Perform is reporting that two sources confirm the PL will play starting early March possibly splitting into two divisions".

I have no doubt the PL has a schedule that will be implemented if they decide to green light a season. Unfortunately, the light seems to be stuck on yellow.

I could see a 4 games season starting March 13th.
3/13 3/20 3/27 4/3 4/10 makeup 4/17 championship
That type of schedule wouldn’t shock me.

The 'Saders Stories podcast had AD Marcus Blossom on to talk about the state of spring sports. Regarding football he said "What I can share is the schedule will be coming out here very soon. It will be just like the other sports I mentioned, a truncated Patriot League schedule. Not all of the teams in the Patriot League have committed to playing football in the spring so that's another reason why the schedule will be smaller than it normally is....... Our first weekend of competition is March 13th"

Two divisions -- in a seven team league. Only the Patriot League could come up with a dumber concept.

The FCS playoffs start April 24 which means any PL season would need to be done by April 17. So, I don’t take a lot of comfort in the notion that fans might be allowed at Fitton in late April. Maybe we’ll put the feed from Frisco up on the Jumbotron for the FCS Championship and invite 1000 fans to Fitton for a watch party.
