Holy Cross up, 3-1, over UNH midway through 2nd period. We lost to them up in Durham, 6-2, a week ago.

Both power play goals by freshman freshman Millie Sirum, who also has an assist. UNH responds with a score, but HC still up, 4-2, with just four minutes left.

I think we are now 3-3 against the other teams picked to finish in the bottom half of the league. I think that’s actually pretty good progress given where we started. Nice job by the staff building the program slowly but surely. Would be great if we would start competing with the top half in another year or so.

Believe they said 4 of the 5 HC goals were by freshmen.

It's amazing that HE has all New England teams yet it is still a power conference in it's sport, and Holy Cross is in the league and winning games. Congratulations.

Both UMass and UMass Lowell are in HE on the men's side but not the women's side. Odd. But fortunate for HC.

A little bit of a reach calling Hockey East a power conference in women's hockey. They have never won a national title and the conference last appearance in the title game was 2016. The WCHA has won 16 out of 19 NCAA titles in the history of ncaa women's hockey. The other three tithes were won by Clarkson in 14,17,18 beating WCHA teams in 14 and 17 while Colgate lost to them in 2018.

My high impression of the women's division of Hockey East based on the national championships won by the men reminds me of former WBB coach BG saying he scheduled schools like Michigan and Marquette before their women's teams were that advanced because of the cachet of playing them. Sure enough it was impressive to read the T&G headline: Holy Cross beats Michigan.

Women play at UVM tmro and Saturday- if they’re limiting overnight stays that would mean there’s a long ride to Burlington tmro and then a tough game (of course one night in a hotel before the 2nd game). We should be very competitive in these matches

BF: Why are the unis awful? What’s your perspective? How should Adidas change the design for the team?

Black is the new...black. It's not a funeral, purple and white is positive, attractive and classic. It's a good thing Mr. Blackwell (1922-2008) and his list are dead.

I’m not a fan of our unis either. Away games should have “Holy Cross” in classic lettering on the front.

Anything beyond royal purple is a deviation from the official school color (SINGULAR!). We are not the “purple and white” or the “purple and black.”
Of course, you have to set off the purple with some other color and white seems to do the job best, IMHO.
Purple and black looks like a bad bruise!😂
