I was trying to be polite. Are you not able to extrapolate the theme of what I am saying? I didn't say it was apples to apples, I said you needed a culture changing coach, who UNDERSTANDS the brand of Holy Cross and is able to sell that to elevate the program. At no point did I say we were going to be a national powerhouse lacrosse as Clemson is in football. Is it not ok to make an analogy? I merely said the hire should not be a bland hire like an offensive coordinator from Fairfield, I think it should be someone who is able to play upon what Holy Cross has and sell that underdog mentality, just as Dabo was able to do at Clemson. Once you can get some wins with superior culture and "buy in" you are able to elevate yourself to a consistently .500 program. Is that good enough for you?

Not to one-up you but when I was at HC I read Joyce's "Ulysses" and had to write a 20 page paper. That book is not for the faint of heart. I never read anything by Joyce but understand it is all tough reading. On a positive note, he did base one of his books on a drinking song, so he can't be all bad "Finnegan's Wake' was no picnic, either, but Prof. Callaham was the best. Had him for two semesters, though he didn't like having 2nd semester seniors. For good reason. Skipped one class to play golf.
