Massey makes Colgate a 14 point favorite (82-68) and gives then a 90% chance for the win. So far, HC has been the underdog in every game. The Raiders are currently 2-1 (wins over BU [86-79] and Army (101-57) They lost to Army the next day - and a loss the next day to Army (75-73).

Colgate easily handled BU yesterday despite a 7 point margin of victory. They were up by double digits almost the entire second half and lead by as much as 18. They are doing the same today through one half(36-24 HT). They are a very good team.

What I meant to say was Colgate may be the best team the PL has seen in decades and I’d be shocked if we can keep the margin of defeat in either game under 50.

BU got Whyte back but now McCoy and Harper are out.
Colgate has a Tim Clifford sized backup in Woodward. Lots and lots of size.

Bucknell gets swept by Lafayette, which is 3-1. Bicknell, 0-4.

Colgate just swept Boston University... tonight by 89 to 45. Let's see what we are made of next weekend..

Colgate has a 6’10” starter and 6’9” and 6’11” among those who play meaningful minutes off the bench. Not going to be easy.

When Colgate is on, it like they are going to be hard to stop. Colgate was able to force BU to shoot a lot of bad threes today. BU was 1/29 from behind the arc. They were 15/60 from the floor. If we can maintain the efficiency that we have had so far this season we can keep it a close game.

Hope to see Rabinovich get a few minutes next weekend given the size advantage Colgate will enjoy.
Any word of why Louth is not in uniform?

Louth may be practicing with the team but not yet ready to contribute... As far as Mike R. - don't think I have seen him on the bench the last 2 games... Anyone see him or have any info?

One possibility would be he was a close contact of someone who tested positive but is not positive himself. That would trigger a quarantine fir him but not others on the team. Pure guess but one that fits the limited available facts.

Seems odd that a team with our size challenges wouldn’t at least have him in uniform. He has played basketball before and he’s 6’9”. Hopefully we see him and Mike dressed next weekend in sunny Hamilton.

Navy swept Lehigh to go to 4-0 I think they’re pretty good but they haven’t played anyone from the PL North yet so tough to know how they’ll fare against the upper echelon of the league.

Colgate also has a 6-9 freshman, Sam Thompson, who may have been Nelson's primary recruiting target among bigs last year. Saw him a couple times playing at Brooks, and he was impressive - gets up and down the court really well, active and skilled around the basket. Averaging 13mpg, 4p, 3r (55% FG) so far, including 7p, 7r in 18m yesterday)

BU hasn’t played with a full team yet so tough to know how good they will be in the end. If the poll were redone today, it’s possible 3 of the top 4 would be in the North. Need to get some of those “We the North” t-shirts from the Raptors.

Curious as to who you have as the other 2 of the top 3 North teams besides Colgate. Hopefully you are considering your jinx power.

Are we busing 8 hours round trip back-to-back days for the series in Hamilton or is the team staying overnight Saturday?
