For the life of me I can’t figure out why they aren’t going hard after Gabe Spinelli - PG from Darrow School.
He’s a local kid. His father was an assistant coach in college forever. Most recent stop was BC
What HC should have done is hire Scott Spinelli and take his kid as a package deal. Gabe is an absolute animal who plays with an edge. Scott grew up in Leominster - coaches tough.
Slam dunk decision. Scott looking for his first opportunity and is hungry. Excellent recruiter too.

If you look up "career assistant" in the dictionary, you'll see a picture of Scott Spinelli.
Holy Cross is currently one of 356 D1 colleges that have not offered Gabe. He got one from Wyoming 2+ years ago, and is one of 25 or so PGs in the Class of 2022 that Jared Grasso has offered.
Pass, and pass

I’ve seen Gabe play with my own eyes. Colgate wanted him before he went to Darrow. I’ll take Scott over Nelson every day of the week. And twice on Sunday.

Jaden is the brother of Harvard's Noah. He's a 2022, btw.
The Kirkwoods are Canadiens. Sam Ferry earning his keep during this critical recruiting/replacement cycle.

A local kid we might want to keep an eye is 6’0” guard Trevor Mullin of St. Sebastian in Newton. I think he hails from Wellesley. Top student-athlete with twelve D1 offers including 4-5 Ivies. Ranked #15 in New England Class of ‘23 by NERR. His coach raved about his shooting ability on feature on TM that just aired on Channel 4 in Boston. Playing today in NEPSAC Class B semi. Siblings play sports at Duke and another high-academic D1 college. According to NERR, Trevor Mullin is headed to Yale in 16 months.

From 247 sports today on 2023 prospect's (from Pennsylvania) performance in Kansas City over the weekend: Playing with WE R1, Thomas Haugh was able to make some noise and he’s an intriguing prospect. At 6-foot-9 he’s a very mobile and fluid four man who can stretch defenses with jump shooting or put the ball on the floor and attack defenders when they close out. Maryland recently offered as did Northwestern while Kansas State is among those looking. Haugh also has offers from programs like Boston, Fairfield, Holy Cross, Marist, Quinnipiac, Rhode Island, Siena and VCU so his recruitment is really running the gamut. Eric Acker, junior from Eagle Academy II, made 4th team AA(highest) all state. He is 6’1” and averaged 18.7 ppg. I do not recall if he is one of the two Eagle players in whom we have shown interest.

Gabe Spinelli signs with Evansville. Evansville was bad last year. 6-24 bad. With that said - he's a local PG that HC could have had rather than the transfer from Houston Baptist.
Evansville plays in a solid league with Northern Iowa, Missouri State, Loyola Chicago, and Drake among others.
