Was he at HC at some point? Googling fails to come up with that connection. Nothing wrong w/posting this given the General Discussion area is still not accepting new threads or comments on existing ones.

Fr. O’Donovan was eloquent, and he was a part of an event that I found very moving and inspirational. God bless us all as we move into this new era of governance!

Fr. O'Donovan ventured into the New England province once; he spent a year teaching at the Weston School of Theology in Cambridge.
I believe I noted before that VP Biden frequently went to mass at Holy Trinity, the Jesuit parish in Georgetown (outside the university grounds) where the former President of St. Joe's is now the pastor. (The pastor is a member of the HC BoT, and on the HC Presidential search committee.) As Biden always carries rosary beads, I am certain that he will frequently attend mass at Holy Trinity.
The invocation at the Lincoln Memorial and the Reflecting Pool on Tuesday night was offered by Wilton Cardinal Gregory, head of the archdiocese of Washington. During the memorial, the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception tolled its largest bell, the Blessed Virgin Mary Bell, 400 times. A statement from the National Shrine noted that the 3.6-ton bell rang every five seconds for about 20 minutes. Each toll of the bell represented 1,000 lives lost to the coronavirus pandemic in the United States.
Biden attended mass this morning at St. Matthews Cathedral, along with McConnell, Schumer, Pelosi, McCarthy, and Harris. It appears the celebrant was the president of Santa Clara, another Jesuit.

Biden went to mass at Holy Trinity, the Jesuit parish whose pastor is a member of the HC BoT. They stopped for four bagels after mass. This is a relatively new Jewish bagel place about a block from Holy Trinity.
