Thanks for the input on Massey ranking. The majority of folks said they liked it (and I will continue to label Massey threads so the three who had little or no interest can avoid it). Here is the current ranking. HC jumped 22 places! Rank…Team (Record) 074 Long Beach State (22-16) 098 Connecticut (21-18) 103 Hartford (25-12) 119 Navy (33-11-1) 150 William & Mary (20-20) 166 South Florida (19-21) 190 Furman (16-24) 192 HOLY CROSS (22-22) 203 UMass Lowell (17-19) 221 Pennsylvania (18-19) 231 Yale (16-23-1) 234 Harvard (15-21) 237 Dartmouth (14-23) 248 Massachusetts (11-18) 250 Brown (12-22) 253 Siena (13 -25) 269 Army West Point (14-28) 277 Bucknell (16-28) 278 Lehigh (18-26) 279 Lafayette (13-26)

I guess Navy's impressive record and possibly their strength of schedule puts them so far above HC, though I thought I read somewhere that we have one of the toughest sos.

I imagine it must be their record. Massey lists Navy's SoS at 281. Holy Cross has a SoS of 250.

That was what I was referring to when I said "their record." After all, they have 22 more wins than losses, while HC is at .500.

RGS- Who is that in your avatar? That is me as First Sergeant of the 9th Virginia, Company C in a living history at Brickhouse about six years ago. [My hat had been "shot off" as we defended an earthworks. ] I will switch to an HC avatar once I can locate my pictures. I had several on the old site but never backed them up.
