Near the end of the Jack Parker era the B.U. men's hockey program was cited (could be by the Boston Globe as opposed to the NCAA) for many of the ills of big time football and basketball in power conference schools. Some team members had developed a sense of entitlement and were acting obnoxiously on campus including towards women. BU hockey had a high opinion of itself then, perhaps it still does. As a Bu Hockey fan. Hockey is King on the campus. Not basketball haha. They don't even have football or baseball anymore. Bu Hockey 5 National Championships! Really missing the Beanpot this year Hoping HC can beat BU in basketball in the remaining games they play!

Navy has a positive Tier 1 test in their men's program, so as I feared, our men's games with them this weekend are postponed. (AFAIK the AU-Navy women's games are still on as scheduled.) So, if we get through the rest of this week, we'll officially be open for business and available for either y'all or Lafayette. As we've played exactly four games this season, I can promise nothing.

Sorry to hear of your team's difficulties with scheduling. At least that is 4 more games than any of the Ivies have under their belts.

Well, we're down for at least 10 days after a small rise in positives in the Athletic Department. So we're not playing this weekend or next. As Emily Litella used to say, never mind.

BU/Colgate got ppd, some "Tier 1" person at BU tested positive.
Will they ever play another game?

Just read where Bucknell has 41 active cases. Classes are going remote starting tomorrow for at lease a week. All athletics shut down. Some students are complaining about a more lax attitude on campus toward COVID than what they saw in the fall semester. On another note, supposedly BU-Colgate series was postponed this weekend due to a BU player not feeling well. Things aren’t looking good with regards to the completion of the hoop season.

So the team with no cases wins the league and goes to the first four.

Got to be particularly frustrating when athletics had nothing to do w/the shutdown(BU last week, UMass now).
BU could have played last week; now they have a case on the team and are 4 games down.
