Bergen Catholic has a starting frosh point guard you might want to check out (most of their games are streamed). In the last week they defeated three previously undefeated teams (Gil StBernard, Ramapo and the Patrick School). What makes their 6'2" frosh pg so special? He is starting with two juniors ("Jelly" Richardson 6'2" and "Downtown" Brown 6'1") who have been mentioned on here in the past. This BC Club is young and smaller than recent teams but the make uo for what they may lack in height with very strong defense. The BC website is bergencatholic.org. PS: Billy Armstrong is their head coach and is turning out D1 talent every year. He has been there for 6 years. BC is 4-0 but he has said this week that there is still much to do because it is not just about wins and losses, but about getting his players to develop and to play regularly at the best of their ability. What a strange idea.

My apologies. He is: #3 Elliot Cadeau Fr 6’2"
Another frosh getting playing time is: #5 Terry Copeland Fr 6’9
On the varsity team but with less time is: #13 Jaylen Bushell- Robinson Fr 6’3"
I can remember when it was news if a sophomore got playing time at BC (back in the day). The level of talent on this team is impressive.

I looked at the roster online. There is another freshman who is 6'7." Are they redshirting these kids in the 8th grade at Our Lady of the "in the Paint" Middle School?

Cadeau already has offers from TCU and Siena, as a frosh.

He also scored 30+ against SJR this week. I was impressed by his 3 pt shooting. Siena really seems to want him. He is for real and some have said he is the best frosh in New Jersey. BC's next games against SJR again (their game vs Paramus Catholic was postponed due to Covid 19 cases at PC. You know they will double (and perhaps triple) team him, so it will be interesting to see how he handles the pressure.
