We are a poor transition team defensively. Too many lapses on D.

That sequence starting with the forced miss to AB turnover just about sums up this season

Brett Nelson 6-39 Sick of losing. I'm sure Brett is as well. I like the fact we are playing a much more physical brand of basketball than we have in the last 5 years. Hopefully we can grab another couple of wins heading into the off season.

If this had been a "regular" season, we would be looking at one of the last, if not the last, OOC game of the season....I'd be pleased with the team looking as they do, then playing their PL schedule! This season has really been a positive for all the young guys!

Tough to keep losing, but I do feel like things are moving in the right direction.
Harper made some tough shots; have to give him some credit.

14-41 on twos , due to shots clearly "not falling", was our lowest pctg on twos since playing Michigan in November 2018

Well, looking back I had hoped to see 4 points: 1. make foul shots (11 of 15 - OK on that one) 2. avoid touch fouls (19 fouls by HC to 14 for BU - could be better) 3. hit at least 50% from 3 (50% in the 1st half but only 44% for the game) 4. don't miss bunnies (14 of 41 - almost too many to count - that was the major difference since HC moved the ball well, got good inside shots, and then missed them...again and again)
OK, a better game but still not good enough to get a win. Need to see more this weekend.

Brett Nelson 6-39 Sick of losing. Favorite phrase on this board going back quite a ways: “wait till next year!”

I seem to remember it as the annual cry from Brooklyn Dodger fans and Cub fans for many years.

Apologize if this has been posted already Gerrale Gates was obviously not at full strength. He was taken out quickly in the first half and was subbed out far more frequently in the second half than is usually done. When he did play, he did not look to be the player we have seen thus far. 26 minutes is far below his average of 33 mpg

There are only three teams in the nation, per NCAA.com, hitting over 40% on threes for the year, and two of them are barely over 40%.

Looking just at the stats, Matt Faw's shooting has been off of late;
First 7 games 2 Pt: 36 for 60= .600 3 PT: 5 for 16= .313
Last 6 games 2 PT: 11 for 31= .354 3 PT: 3 for 16= ,188
3 point shooting can be very volatile and the sample sizes are small, but the 2 point shooting really surprises me. Are teams defending him differently now or is he injured or is this just the randomness of numbers? His scoring has been cut in half, from 22.5 PTS/40 minutes in the first 7 games to 9.0/40 in the last six.
What are those of you with trained eyes seeing on the floor?

I thought Gerrale had his usual tenacity in scrapping for second and third chances under the basket but I didn't watch the whole game. If Martindale got the extra minutes he did a pretty good job.

Rabinovich got most of those 7 minutes. Judson’s 4 threes were certainly a positive, but he does not help on the interior play at either end the way that Gerrale does.

He and Gates were double teamed more by BU than other opponents. His foul trouble has him sitting for extended periods of time which may affect his shooting. In 2 of these games Colgate’s (very)bigs were difficult matchups for Matt, He was also doubled somewhat in these games.
