Holy Cross had 10 caused turnovers, Sacred Heart Heart one. Conlin, one of HC,'s best players, had five caused turnovers. I just find one being very low....🤷♂️ I agree. I looked up the definition of a caused turnover. It is "Defense gains control of the ball after contact with the ball, crosse or player." I do know that HC just threw the ball away a number of times. I don't think anybody is challenging the official scorer on this stat so I don't think we can ever know for sure.

I was very impressed with goalie play.
Despite overall sloppiness (not unexpected under the circumstances), I was also impressed by the grit/resolve to get the win.
Lots of work to do, but a nice win.

Lots of work to do, but a nice win. I agree, the team showed that they have the courage to win close games, but definitely need to master their systems. It will all come with time and continued buy in from the players. Seems like our defense was a bit erratic in the midfield. Were we missing some players?

Phillip Turner, senior close defenseman and starter last year did not play.
At midfield defense we were missing Jr Chase Maitland (lots of PT since his freshman yr) and So Martin Folan (promising contributor last year as a freshman).
Things looked a little shaky and confused at times on the D end Saturday and on the clear (which starts with the defense).

Game today is at 7:30 pm, which seems a bit crazy, given weather in Hamilton this time of year. I assume the team left Worcester this morning and hence the late start, or does ESPN have a say in the start time?

I have no idea why it is such a crazy start time, but I do know that ESPN has no say at all.

Game was originally a 4:30 start and agree it's ridiculous to play in these up state ny conditions at night. 'Gate is 0-2 after losses to RMU and Albany in a game played at the right hour, Lehigh made a statement today with a 10-6 win over Loyola.

Current temperature in Hamilton: 21. Almost seems cruel, and unhealthy.

Steady snow.
HC down 6-0 with 8:20 remaining in first quarter.
Conditions seem unsafe to play. Hard to pick up the ball in the snow storm.

At end of first period, 6-1 Colgate.
They should suspend game. Have the teams pick it up on Sunday.

Lights are on a timer. The timer is controlled by a company in Indiana.
Players going back to locker room.
Field being shoveled manually.
Will be using orange balls when play resumes.
And some think we have issues on Mt. St. James.

At the half, 6-4 Colgate.
After the interruption HC has played well in scoring 3 goals.
Hope the HC team that took control in the second quarter continues to play.

Goal by Lambert ties it at 11. What a comeback. Headed to OT. What time with the boys get back to Mt. Saint James?

After being down 6-0, HC has stormed back to tie the game with less than 30 seconds to tie the game at 11-11.
Game is going to overtime.

The team showed real grit and determination to come back after being down by 6 goals at the end of the first quarter. Men’s Lax will be fun to watch this year.
I am still trying to understand how Colgate is managing Andy Kerr Stadium, that the lights were scheduled to go out at 8:00 PM, with the light management being outsourced to a firm external to their athletic administration.
