I would put the word "hopefully" in all caps....I think we have two chances: slim and none. See you at Fitton!

we will clearly have to outscore harvard. other than the PP injury, does anyone know of any important injuries to the offensive side of the ball ? i don't think it's been mentioned but their qb is joe viviano, jr whose father played basketball at HC in the late 80's.

Quick review of Harvard media guide reveals that we are their most frequent non conference opponent. This is a great rivalry. Let's hope our guys can step it up tomorrow and get a win. Looking forward to a great day on Mout St. James.

The Horror!!! WORCESTER, Mass. – The Holy Cross department of athletics has announced that Gordie Lockbaum bobblehead dolls will now be given away at the football game between the Crusaders and the Lehigh Mountain Hawks on Saturday, Oct. 22. The giveaway had originally been scheduled for the Oct. 15 contest with Harvard, but has been moved back one week due to an unforeseen shipping delay. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to our loyal and passionate fans.
At the Oct. 22 game against Lehigh, the first 1,500 fans at Fitton Field will receive a free Gordie Lockbaum bobblehead doll. The bobbleheads will be available to fans as they enter the stadium at Gates A, B and D, beginning at 10:30 a.m. when gates open.
Tickets for both the Harvard and Lehigh games are still available by calling 1-844-GOCROSS or by visiting GoHolyCross.com/tickets. During the Oct. 15 game with Harvard, this year’s Ring of Honor induction ceremony will take place at halftime. The Oct. 22 contest against Lehigh will be part of Family Weekend, and will also see the members of the Holy Cross senior class honored prior to kickoff. Make sure you don’t miss either of these exciting match-ups!

From the Harvard Football website:
Harvard has won 34 of its last 41 non-league games dating back to 2003 (.829). The Crimson has rattled off 16-straight victories against non-Ivy League opponents, the longest streak in Ivy League history. The last non-Ivy team to defeat Harvard was Holy Cross (30-22) Sept. 17, 2011.

I'll enjoy it for at least a while when we get out ahead early, like 7-0 or 14-0.

If we were 4-0, played an exciting style with a dynamic young coach,I believe Worcester would be intrigued and there could be a decent crowd tomorrow. Alas,it is not to be. Something must be done, NOW, to give this program some spark.

Harvard is a great team. Would be nice to see them challenge themselves once and awhile by playing a tough out of conference slate but Murphy never will. That being said HC/Harvard at Fitton is usually a well-played tight game. Hopefully Crusaders will rise to the challenge.
