Missed the last 5 minutes of the game; glad we won but I picked Harvard based on last week's performance. Yes, I agree about Wade. He is the man going forward. D put up a good effort and I was especially impressed by the D Line and LB corps.

All in all, a most enjoyable game! Happy to say that I picked the Crusaders, but several of you will have a poor prognosticating record! Go Cross! I have never been more delighted to be WRONG! GO CROSS...BEAT LEHIGH!

GREAT Win! Very happy for TG and staff, who had a great gameplan coming in.
Defense was excellent, and has looked pretty darn good for the majority of the season but have not gotten support from the offense during a some key moments in the losses. Today that support came in the form of outstanding performances by Flaherty, Wieczorek (who is looking like Julian Edelman in the return game), and the encouraging emergengence of Cozier.
Let's keep it rolling next week.

Cozier turned in the first 100 yard rushing game for a Holy Cross player since PP did it against Lafayette two seasons back.

Let's keep it rolling next week. You forgot to mention Geoff Wade, who did another good job of managing the game, committed zero turnovers, and made some big throws when he had to. That Bucknell loss becomes incredibly frustrating after watching what he did today and at Lafayette.

Cozier was fantastic--another small back, he didn't break tackles but spun out of a few to gain extra yardage. He's very elusive when he gets some room, even a little, to maneuver.

I've been saying all along we take too long to look at the freshmen. I bet there are 2-4 more who could have an impact as well.... Wouldn't this prove that the coaches are willing to put them in when they're ready to play? Maybe he has been coached up over the last 2 months to get to this point. He has been at WR until a week or two ago...

How many QB sacks did we have today? Seemed like at least 4+. HC had 6 QB sacks (to 5 for Harvard) and 1 interception (a huge one) to 0 for Harvard. HC had 374 yards on offense to only 245 for Harvard. Harvard also had FIVE fumbles (to none for HC). The vaunted rushing attack of the Crimson had a net total of 26 yards for the game (OK, 61 yards if you take away the yardage lost on sacks). WAY TO GO DEFENSE!

Glad you pointed that out, hoops. With the depth we have at WR, I can understand why Cozier has not seen the field at that position as yet.
And I think it is fair to say that the injuries to Gabe Guild and (apparently) Miles Alexander made it a necessity to move Cozier to RB for this game. Kudos to TG and to RB coach Jon Guynes.
By the way, for those who have not seen it on the HC staff directory, Steve Cully (who was the TE coach) is now coaching the OL, and former Yale head coach Jack Siedlicki, who I believe is a Worcester native, has been added to the staff to coach the TEs.

Cozier averaged 7 yards a carry (and some very nice runs with Harvard concentrating on stopping the run at the end of the game). His twisting run for that first down was a thing of beauty. 16 carries for 112 yards.

Siedlicki did a decent job at Yale. Was surprised he "resigned".
HC really, really, really stuffed Harvard's run game. No rb's trapped inside, then bouncing out for big gains; which is what killed them last week.
